There are many reasons why I really really like cluevo. One such reason is the use of shortcodes which makes access very flexible.

I have played with cluevo for a while but have not done so regularly or systematically. So please forgive the following questions:

I can see that a SCORM module could be flagged as completed once the module has sent the “complete” flag to the LMS.
    BUT…
Is a chapter flagged as complete if all of its SCORM modules have been completed? But what if a chapter is made up of more than SCORM modules (see below)?

    AND
A lesson might be made up of more than just SCORM modules. I know that you have the ability to use video as modules and also google docs. But… you may also want to use just simple WP pages as part of a lesson.

So… I have two questions about simple pages. Can you protect them by using the cluevo groups and

Is there some way that the present cluevolms can send a “page completed” status to the LMS for the purpose of judging completion beyond scorm modules? For instance, could you trigger the “completed” status when a certain part of the page has been reached or, maybe, the user has pressed a “completed” button?

    Sorry for the many questions
    Thank you very much
    Andrew

    Hey Andrew,

if I understand you correctly you’re right about chapters. Completion of chapters/courses is always determined by the completion status of the elements they contain and always comes back to the status of the modules. If you have a chapter with three modules the chapter will be completed once all modules are flagged as completed. Also, if you have a course with multiple chapters, the course will be completed once all chapters have been completed, so once all modules in all chapters are completed.

Using pages as modules has been requested in the past and will probably be added in one of next updates. We’re just working out how exactly this will be implemented.

    Greetings,

    Chris
