Completely remove 2fa

    Hi,

    It seems like 2fa is automatically enabled now. How can I completely remove this? I do not want to use 2fa, for any website users. I want to completely remove and disable 2 factor authentication altogether.

    Hello @algala and thanks for reaching out to us!

    2FA should only be used if you have it set to be required for specific roles. Navigate to Wordfence > Login Security > Settings and make sure it is disabled for all roles.

    Yes, I believe this helped. I just checked the settings, and all are ‘disabled’ now, except for the admin role. It says ‘optional’. I do not see a way to disable it for admins, but that could just be how that user role works.
