You need to access via FTP or ask your hosting provider to do that for you (or help you to do that).

    Then rename the folder at:

    /home/content/27/11273327/html/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/

    To something like:
    better-wp-security-old

Then try logging in again – hopefully that should work and would indicate a conflict between your new theme and that security plugin.

You might rename the plugin directory for iThemes Security temporarily while you try fixing whatever is actually causing this. Just add 1234 to the iThemes Directory.

If that works then seek support at the iThemes Security plugin and your new theme’s support channels.

If you get further errors referencing other plugins you’ll probably need to temporarily disable them also. If that happens I’d look harder at the theme and possibly rename that theme’s directory temporarily to force a default theme to run.

Do continue investigating this as you don’t want to run without any security plugin too long… unless you don’t feel you need it anymore.

If you have a Control Panel for your hosting account you might be able to use its file manager to rename that directory.

else, its time to ask your host for help.

@jnashhawkins I cant log in at all to get to any control panels, any idea were i need to look to find the website host? i notice i see “godaddy” on some of the error info, do I contact them?

When I checked the DNS configuration I get an IP that looks like a GoDaddy site and returns the ‘Page Okay’ that you often see when trying to access a GoDaddy host via the IP.

Who pays the bill on this hosting account? Looking things up via the credit/debit card charges might help find more about the host but GoDaddy is a good bet.

If you don’t know the login info at the host you might need the credit/debit card info to verify your identity and get you in there.

So call GoDaddy and ask them for help.

Let us know if you need anything else.

Yeah, this is a website for a good friend, trying to figure this out for him haha, if I can get into godaddy, can I change anything with the certificate possibly? Thanks for the help so far!

Certificate??? Ask your host about that… that’s not a WordPress issue.

    Is it fixed?
