Completely customise sidebar widget

Hi,

Thanks for such a comprehensive and fully featured plugin for event management! I’ve found the main calendar to be brilliant, but I’ve run into some trouble trying to customize the sidebar widget to my liking.

Really all I want is a plain version: a d/m date followed the by title which is a link, taking you back to the main calendar. Really that simple. I’ve been playing about with the CSS and I’ve started to re-style the calendar but there’s so many layers of style there, it’d take an age.

Far better if I could pull out the event using PHP and customise the sidebar myself. Is this possible? If not, is there an easier solution than trying to rewrite most of your widget CSS?
