    Hi Imagely

    How do you completely Uninstall NextGen Gallery

    Just uninstalling the plugin from within WordPress leaves multiple database entries and various folders on my server

    Do you provide a clean up script or plugin for removal of Nextgen Gallery?

    Or can you tell me what I need to delete after uninstalling?

    Hi @snapper65,

    Unfortunately, we don’t have a tool that’d allow cleaning up everything that NGG has created but just as a thought – you can wipe manually the wp-content/gallery folder and also the tables containing ngg prefix.

    But how do I remove all the Photocrati / Imagely entries from wp_options

    I’ve been using Nextgen Gallery since 2013 and there are a lot of entries

    I am afraid there are no a straight forward answers to that. You’d need to find a way to bulk or manually delete the entries if option_name contains ngg or photocrati.

    By the way – NGG should also have created a lot of entries for each of the gallery within wp_posts that you may want to consider cleaning as well. We highly recommend creating a backup of your database before preceding. SQL querying skills would be required.

    Hi Imagely

    So its really difficult to remove Nextgen Gallery

    Is there a clean-up plugin that would assist in deleting leftover entries, that you would recommend?

    I guess my only other alternative would be to make a complete fresh install of WordPress and database

    Unfortunately that would take quite some time to recreate and reconfigure my entire website from scratch once more
