Decent Membership Plugin,

Users Ultra is a decent plugin for membership with a little bit of social network functionality. It really has more features than other plugins and the free version is pretty easy to manage. If you plan to upgrade to their pro version though, keep in mind it does have some bugs and missing features and their support in most cases will not help you or even answer your questions. This is a great system if you are good with thinking through things and coming up with workarounds. It looks better in general and has more features than any other plugin at their price range. If you have basic needs or are willing to work through issues on your own, it is great. If you want something that works perfectly out of the box, you may want to look elsewhere.
