compilanz in different language than my website

Hi Andrea,

Complianz should follow your site language, and the back-end follows user language.

Could you please check the following:
1. Is your site language set to German? (WordPress -> Settings -> General)
2. Is your user language set to German or Site default (WordPress -> User -> My Profile)
3. If 1. and 2 are true, please force update language files (WordPress -> Dashboard -> Updates -> (scroll down) update translations)

If all that doesn’t work, please let me know so we can look for another solution.

Hi Leon, thanks so much for your quick reply.

Already did your suggestion before asking & both was & is correct. I reinstalled wp & reinstalled the plugin, but nothing changed… still cookie-policy in english…

Do you have any further suggestions what could be the issue?
Or is it possible to change the language of the plugin manually?

Hi @andreadmin123,

A few questions:
– Could you confirm that you are using Complianz Free? (There could be different causes if you are using Premium)
– Are you using any multilingual plugins like WPML, Polylang, etc.?
– Is your site language set to German formal/informal, or another German variant like Swiss? Complianz is currently only translated in German formal and informal.
– Both the Complianz wizard and legal documents remain English?
