Compatibly issues with plugins all of a sudden, calendar doesn't display correct

    All of a sudden, my event calendar started acting up. I ran through all the required troubleshooting steps (reverted to default theme, disabled all plugins, deleted unused plugins, etc.)

    I thought I had the problem fixed and the offending plugin uninstalled, but it turns out it’s the calendar that is not playing nice with about 2-3 essential plugins. Hasn’t been until about a week ago, any ideas?

    Problem – with all the plugins activated, the calendar grid (month view/default) does not show, and the sidebar widget disappears as well.

    Deactivating WP Shortcode Magic and a redirect plugin I have will make the calendar function properly again, but there is so much of the site relying on those plugins that I am hoping there is some issue with the event calendar we can fix.

  • I am having more or less the same problem. We’ve not updated any plugins or touched the theme since the Calendar was working. Client is unhappy ??

    Ok – in our case updating to the latest “Mini twitter feed” fixed the issue. It seems somehow related to the version of jquery in by AEC.
