Compatiblity with wordpress 3.8
-
From our check the plugin is compatible with 3.8, if you have any issue let me know. I’m less on the forums as we are working hard on 2.0 and i don’t have time to check them out, but i’ll follow this thread. Please mark the plugin as compatible if it works for you 3.8 on the plugin page, if it’s not working please post here before reporting and i will check if it’s somthing related to that version or not.

oh thank you ajhoy…I finally figured out what you meant and now I’m back into plugins to see what works and what doesn’t…awesome!
comment out in php meant to put <!– at the front of line 160 and –> at the end of line 160
<!--unset( $plugins->active[ array_search( $basename, $plugins->active ) ] );-->
Dang it! Yes, commenting out removed the error, but it also removed the calendar. If you have any advice on a next step, I’m all ears. At least now I can get into plugins to uninstall if necessary. Help!!!
Because I commented it out, wp deactivated it and won’t allow me to activate it because of line 160 causing a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /hermes/bosweb26d/b844/nf.tvascca/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 160
Still would appreciate direction from someone if you have an idea of what to try. Thanks
Hi
I have recently upgraded to WP 3.8.1 and after updating this plugin had issues with accessing my wordpress plugin & update core pages i.e. they were displaying blank.
At first I thought the issue was with Photocrati’s gallery plugin as their galleries stopped working on the site too.
After some advice from their support I had to disable this plugin using brute force which resolved all of my other issues.
Reactivating this plugin resorts back to the original issue.
Hence I am now left with a situation whereby I can no longer use the plugin on the site. Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue as really love this plugin and is so much needed for the website.
Many thanks in advance
MidgeI have actually been able to resolve the issue with this plugin i.e. appears there is a conflict with another plugin. At this time not sure which as have disable quite a few older plugins on the site which seemed to resolve the problem for now. If I manage to have more time or come across this issue again will post my findings
I can install the calendar plugin (version 1.10.11 from the website) manually successfully, and it does not crash my site (I am using WP version 3.8.1)and NOT using W3TC, however when I to to the settings, the area under General Settings says “If the form below is not working, click this link.” However clicking the link does nothing, and the settings pane never appears. Nor does refreshing the page resolve it. In the right pane, the Timely News also has a spinning circle that never stops. Is this another plugin conflict issue? The version from the WordPress plugin downloads (version 1.10.5) works perfectly. Thanks.
Hello–I am having a similar problem as some others on here and we need it resolved asap.
We are running WordPress 3.8.1 and the free Standard All in One calendar. Our Google calendar loads just fine but none of the events that we have listed are showing up. I have confirmed that the events are configured properly in our Google account.
When I remove and try to re-add the .ics url, the “Refresh” button just spins endlessly and never finishes.
Here is the site: https://berninakc.com/class-schedule/action~month/exact_date~1393653600/
Here is the Google Calendar, with the events: https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=berninakc%40gmail.com&ctz=America/Chicago
Help??
Hi Again
Seems the problem I raised and resolved a week ago has come back to haunt us again and this time I am more confident the issue lies with a conflict with this plugin.
I had 4 plugin updates to do one of them being this plugin. I carried out two other updates and then the same issue as before occurred i.e. could not access the plugins page or update core php.
I went through and brute force disabled those I updated but the issue persisted. I then disabled this plugin and the problem resolved itself again.
Bit puzzled by this as I don’t seem to have a problem with this plugin on other sites I manage that use it albeit some of the setups may vary i.e. different plugins and themes.
The main difference between sites is that on this one that is experiencing these issues is that it is set up to pull in Facebook events whereby others aren’t.
Up to now this has been a really good plugin that has worked really well.
Would be great if anyone can shed some light on this problem.
Best regards
MidgeHi update on progress. Seems after disabling the plugin, did all my other updates and re-enabling it everything works fine again. So maybe this might help narrow the issue down to being related to updates?
For now happy that my issue is resolved again.
Hi, My wordpress was updated to 3.8.2 I logged in and updated the all in one calendar plugin, got the message that update was installed correctly but also had the following message
Warning: array_search() expects parameter 2 to be array, object given in /home/content/05/6773205/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 160Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /home/content/05/6773205/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 160
Now when I click on updates or plugins, this same message appears. I do not know how to uninstall the plugin now as I get this message instead. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,My calendar is disabled and I have this when I log into my dashboard. This is at a crucial time for my site. Any help on this?
