• From our check the plugin is compatible with 3.8, if you have any issue let me know. I’m less on the forums as we are working hard on 2.0 and i don’t have time to check them out, but i’ll follow this thread. Please mark the plugin as compatible if it works for you 3.8 on the plugin page, if it’s not working please post here before reporting and i will check if it’s somthing related to that version or not.

Hi one of my clients tried to upgrade today. They are on WP 3.8.1 and use W3TC (to date with no conflicts with your plugin). Now when they try to load the plugins page on the admin side of WP, they get:

Warning: array_search() [function.array-search]: Wrong datatype for second argument in ../wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 160

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in ../wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 160

I’m unclear from the previous posts how to rollback without losing existing calendar data. Please advises. Thanks!

I have just upgraded my WP to 3.8.1 and installed W3TC due to high usage problems with the hosting.

I also got the same error message as bdub8888.

When I de-activated the All-in-One Event Calendar by moving the plug-in file everything was fine.

Has anyone managed to get WP 3.8.1, W3TC and All-in-One Event calendar to work together?

    Thanks for any help.

I’m getting the same error message as bdub8888 when I try to go to “Installed Plugins” from the Dashboard.

I’m running WP 3.8.1 and didn’t have any issues until trying to update this All-in-One Event Calendar. I had version 1.10.9 of the plugin installed prior to this.

Now, I’m unable to access the Installed Plugins page to update anything else, deactivate, or delete any plugin that is already installed.

With that said, the calendar actually still works. I’m able to add and edit events like normal. I can also access the plugin Editor, so I’m guessing this is where I’d be able to fix this, but don’t know where to look.

I’d like to rollback the update if I could but not sure how I can. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As aynaco said, there is a conflict with the newest versions of AI1EC and W3 Total Cache. Just rename both of these plugin folders to deactivate them. Then uninstall W3TC as it is not necessary to the operation of your site, and re-activate AI1EC. Maybe they’ll play together better later on, but for now, it’s a no go. Personally, I haven’t noticed any performance gain from using W3TC anyway. Why is it so dang popular?

    aynaco

    (@aynaco)

The only reason I installed W3TC is that my Hosting company, Inmotion Hosting, suspended my site because they said I was running a version of WP that was causing some issues with resource usage and performance.

If I wanted my site to be reinstated I had to upgrade my WP to 3.8.1 and they suggested that I use W3TC to improve performance.

Has anyone found a better Caching plugin that works with All in One Event Calendar?

    (@ajhoy26)

In my case, I do not have W3TC. Any other ideas what could be causing this?

I found that commenting out line 160 worked for me. Everything seems to be working now.

@ajhoy26 remember that 1.10.5 is different from 1.10.9-standard

And if you upgrade to 1.10.11-standard you can’t go back to the version here

When i import an .ICS feed, it just keeps loading, and nothing happens, what can be the problem? Im running the newest wordpress (WordPress 3.8.1) and 1.10.11 of the calendar plugin.

I have tried multiple feeds, and they are all validated here:

But it just keeps loading, and nothing happens.

Hello. I LOVE the Timely calendar plugin for WordPress. The free version has everything I need, so I’ve installed it on a couple sites I built. On https://www.lcr-lagauche.org it works fine (WP 3.8.1) but on https://www.sap-rood.org (also WP 3.8.1) I had to uninstall it because it was completely screwed up. Here’s the error messages: any idea what went wrong or what I can do to fix it?

Notice: A non well formed numeric value encountered in /nas/wp/www/cluster-2312/sap4/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/app/helper/class-ai1ec-calendar-helper.php on line 817

I love this calendar too, but I updated and now get:
Warning: array_search() [function.array-search]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /hermes/bosweb26d/b844/nf.tvascca/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 160

    I can’t access “plugins”
I don’t understand the instruction by ajhoy above “commenting out line 160”. Could you elaborate? Thanks so much

    Hello,
I’m trying to use your lovely plugin with WordPress 3.8.1 and a ThemeForest theme called “Zoo”.

I fear that there may be an incompatability as I have not noticed any new menu items and I don’t have the ability to add events (I assume this is core WordPress functionality). The site is here:

    https://www.davidgoodyoga.rakkatak.com/

Any ideas as to why this may not be working are welcome. Thank you!

    Anita

Just figured it out… there was a message saying that I needed to activate event pages on installation that I missed. Thank you!
