Compatible with NGinx and W3 Total cache and other questions

  • Hello,

    I’d like to know if this plug in works on a NGinx powered server, using W3 Total cache to speed up pages delivery.

    Furthermore I did not understand if this plug in works with pretty permalinks (with the setup above) or not.

    Does the plug in auto detect the visitor browser language and redirects him to the appropriate page?

    Finally I seem to have read this plug in does not retain the chosen language when clicking URLs, i.e. if I click a link on a Spanish page I am sent to the default language destination page.

    Is it true?

  • NGinx powered server xili-language plugin uses canonical features of WP… So he is not dependent of server technical spec…

    Cache we read never read bad return about cache (better are those managed by server itself)

    Permalinks Permalinks features for languages in xili-language are not regulary free but works well for contributives users.

    Redirection If read wiki.xiligroup.com, you will find all infos

    Chosen language xili-language don’t use cookies but adapt the links (pages, categories) to be sure to remain in the same language space.

    The best way for you is to test in your real configuration and use the support form in plugin settings to have direct contact with this 5 years plugin’s author.
