I would like to use this plugin to edit fields on job posts in my website.

I use “jobs for wordpress” to create these posts. It has a lot of fields.

Mainly I would like to use “find and replace” function to change locations. This location name is within general description, “benefits” field, city, state, zip code, and meta description.

Will this tool automatically replace inputs in those fields?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi. The premium plugin works perfectly for that.

It lets you view the jobs in the spreadsheet, it detects all the fields automatically, you can edit all the fields and use the “bulk edit” option to execute replacements on the locations.

Great. To clarify, if I “bulk edit” would I be able to find and replace, let’s say “Sacramento” with “Seattle” in all fields at once or would I have to find and replace by individual field?

Just trying to get an idea of how much time this will save..

There are multiple ways to edit:

1- You can use the “bulk edit” option to run the replacement on individual fields (one at a time). But this is super fast.

For example, replacing “Sacramento” with “Seattle” on 2000 posts only takes like 5 seconds.

So you can run the replacement for one field, go back one step and just select another field and execute using the same settings, and repeat a couple of times.

2- Another option is to export, run the replacement in Excel, and import back. This would take longer than the first option.

Ok thanks, it sounds like this could be a time saver.
