• Hello, I just tested WordPress 5.6 and modal windows stop working. This also refers to modal navigation in ocean wp. Is this a known bug of the plugin?

  • Hello,

No, but it is working fine with this version.

Can please share the snapshots of your issue and go to Elementor > System Info and share the report with us so that we can take a look.

Thanks for your reply, screenshot is not possible, there is nothing to show ??
All modal links just stopped opening modals including the full page menu of ocean wp.

I reverted back to 5.53 and all is fine, so posting system info makes no sense imho.

Here are some infos, which may be relevant.

Good to know that you have managed to fix the issue.
If you want we can take a look, please create a staging site and update the WordPress, theme, and plugin to the latest version and check if it is not working, please share the page of that site to check the issue.

Would not call it fixed. If I update to WordPress 5.6 it won’t work again ??
But OK if no one else has this problem, maybe it is just an incompatibility on my site.

That is quite odd but I can understand your concern.

Please try to switch to the parent theme and I would recommend you to please reach out to your hosting provider and ask them to set your WP Memory Limit to 768M if possible. If not, then 512M. Currently, your WordPress memory limit is 256M, and sometimes less memory limit also could be an issue.

Thanks for your reply, I switched to Jetpop-Up, which works really fine.

    Hello,

Good to know that you found a plugin that working well for you.

and I have passed this issue to the concerned dev team to look into it and if we found any compatibility issue with it, we will try to fix it in our next update.
