Compatibility with WPML

Hello again,
Just wondering if you have been able to check my message of last week and you would be interested in working with us to work on the compatibility with WPML? Thanks!

It would be nice if we could have full compatibility between both plugins. The only reason I am not using Better AMP plugin now is because I can’t make it work for my translated posts.

Thanks for reporting it. We made some changes to make it compatible with WPML and we fixed the issue that was reported in your support forum.

Hi,
This is David from the WPML compatibility team.
This works much better now, thanks so far.

This is what I found:
– pages, posts and archive pages work
– the home page still doesnt work though
– the url in amphtml meta is incorrect

I will try to fix these and send a PR to your github project.

This is good progress.

@betterstudio – Give high priority to this project as well because, AMP is one of the Most wanted thing to get better ranking in Google. Do not deprioritize.

OMG. WPML already created this thread for similar kind of issue. @betterstudio can you fix this issue?

It fixes issues with AMP urls by excluding language subdirectories
The code was already there, but it had to run earlier and more often.
