    Hi,
I try to use the plugin together with WPML, (WP Multilingual). Is it compatible with WPML?
I managed to translate the events, (default language english, second language hungarian). The strings of the calendar I translated in .mo and .po files, the hungarian language events I put in a category, and I display this category in the hungarian menu. Everything works OK, the strings of the calendar display in hungarian, for the first time, when the site is loaded, but when I navigate in the calendar for example towards the next month, the english texts (not the translated ones) are shown again. When I refresh the page, it shows the translated text again. What can cause this issue?

    WP 3.8.1, Enfold theme

    Thanks

Similar problem for me on WP 3.8.1, Enfold theme and other WPML inssue with the ‘Default Events Template’.

WPML don′t translate the string (url events) for this template, everything works with ‘Single Event Template’. The ‘wpml string translation plugin’ tranlates the string for the Single event but no for events template.
When I change the language from the default language Events Template page with the wpml selector redirect to the front page (index)

And returns many 404 erros when change the views (list, month, agenda,..)

Thanks a lot for everything. All the best

Hi everyone: I’m afraid that, at this time, we do not support WPML and cannot guarantee it will work smoothly with The Events Calendar.

We plan to investigate possible solutions for this, but there are a number of challenges in integrating with WPML and unfortunately I can offer up no timelines for this.

Dear Barry, if you are interested in WPML compatibility you can join WPML Plugins Compatibility program. WPML people cooperate with plugin authors. Benefits for both sides and for all WP users.

    Thanks agnes.b – we’re definitely aware of that ??
