    Hi @deeluuxe

What I meant is that we do not automatically add a consent checkbox to forms or add a “form field” for those plugins that you can just drag and drop and it will work.

We export all data from the usermeta database table. Not all plugins store data there. They can store it on a special database table. I believe gforms does that. It is not possible to have a perfect system.

Now that we released the privacy tools in core, all these major plugins will update to feed the data to the exporter. This will not take long.

In the case of our plugin, what we will do for V2 is to connect with the core exporter and if possible, include the usermetas into their export.
We will move in that direction because other plugins will feed their data into this exporter. So we gotta follow this.

I wouldn’t worry too much about this. Plugins will definitely update quickly to include their data in this feed.

    Hi @fclaussen

Okay, this calms me down a bit. Thank you!
But BuddyPress is already fully supported, right?

I have already written to the developers of Formidable (a very good form system) and they will support the WP-GDPR tools directly in the next release.

When will version 2.0 be released? Hope that there are not too many adjustments, because we all have a lot to do with all sorts of changes at the moment…

We do add our consent checkboxes to BuddyPress registration form. Same with WooCommerce.

I’m working all weekend and Monday holiday to get this finalized.
I’m hoping to get this released on Tuesday.

Since it is a major release, there will be adjustments that will need to happen.
But in the end, it will be much better.

My recommendation is that before updating, you create a backup and take note of your cookie settings. Those will need to be set up again (not the codes and functions. Just the list of cookies used and so on).
