Compatibility with WordPress

    Hello,

    Due to a situation that occurred on one of our websites several months ago, we have been needing to be quite strict with the plugins that we use. One of our guidelines is to only use plugins that are compatible with the current version of WordPress.

    We’ve been greatly enjoying/appreciating the Facebook Page Plugin and we’re wondering if an update is expected to be released to add compatibility up to the latest version (4.4.1). Currently the plugin displays as compatible up to only 4.3.2.

    Hi JP,

    Yes the plugin is compatible with the latest version (4.4.1). I’ve been working on some new features for v1.6 so I’ve been holding off any kind of update until that’s done. Totally understand your situation and apologies for any confusion this has caused.

    Hi Cameron,

    Can you tell me if this plugin will continue to be updated and compatible with the latest WordPress versions? At the moment, the WP plugin page shows “Compatible up to: 4.4.5” and last updated “9 months ago”.

    Hi JP,

    The plugin is tested and working with the latest version of WordPress. I’ve held off releasing an update for the plugin as there are a lot of new features I am adding which aren’t quite finished yet. As a couple of people have asked this now I’ll release a version bump for your peace of mind.
