WooCommerce comes with some widgets. The “Filter Products by Attribute” widget displays the selected attributes from the products being listed, so the user can filter down the list further.
When using WP Extended Search however, it looks like the widget still works from the unmodified result list. So lets say I have a search term “white” which is only part of one product title, so generates one result in normal WooCommerce. However I have other plugins with tags, categories and attributes containing the term “white”. Once WP Extended Search is enabled, these additional products are shown on the results page when searching for “white”, but the “Filter Products by Attribute” widget still only shows the attributes of the one product, that has “white” in the title, which would have been the only result by default in WooCommerce.

Let me know if this is something the plugin should handle or is it an issue only on my side?

    Hi,

Currently, the product filter widget is not compatible with WPES.
This will be be fixed in future version. For now, you should select the attributes in WPES setting so the users can search using attributes names.

    Thanks
