    Hi there

Our client wants to use WooCommerce Payments, and therefore add a charge on ApplePay and GooglePay (only). The other payment methods (credit cards, paypal etc) are set up with wallee which works great.

The problem with WooCommerce Payments is that no extra charge field appears in the settings as the interface differs from the other methods.

    Is it simply not possible?

Yeah, that’s it, I still have something more general in my mind, but nothing right now to share with you. If you want I get back to it, when it’s ready.

    Thank you for the answer.

In the meantime, we have experimented with the plugin “Payment Gateway Based Fees and Discounts for WooCommerce” – this combines all payment methods in a new settings tab, from where a fee can then be assigned – this would actually work, but only if the same fee is required for all payment methods… The reason for this is that the Google Pay and Apple Pay buttons simply take over the basket price (so I can, for example, select cash payment, then click on the button and thus avoid the fee).

Yeah, that’s definitely one of the approaches I plan to use (however, I have some sort of this solution within another plugin and unfortunately, not all shipping solutions register that way – they have for example one shipping and then some conditional logic above it).
