Compatibility with Woocommerce Checkout Blocks

  • Hi, your plugin has become such an important tool for us, it’s super simple and effective — we really love it.
    We were planning to start using the new Wocommerce Cart and Checkout blocks (https://woocommerce.com/pt-br/checkout-blocks/) because it offers an improved checkout experience but we noticed some glitches using Pay for Payment:
    – If the payment method on top of the list has an extra fee, then that fee remains the same even if we change to a free payment method.
    – If the first payment method is free of charge, then changing to a payment method with extra fees does not produce changes in the total payable amount.

    In sum, the cost of the first payment on the list is always assumed. Are you planing to add compatibility with the Woocommerce Checkout Blocks?

    Hi! Thanks for stepping in and letting me know. Firstly I’m glad that the Woo blocks are finally stable enough for a real use.

    I plan to refactor the plugin and make it a freemium – all current functionality will remain free. Still, some things require more maintenance and extensive change from the plugin side due (compatibility with blocks as you mentioned, compatibility with plugins with only react interface, etc.), and that will be in the “pro” license.

    I will let you know, when it’s out (I hope in upcoming month or two).
