Compatibility with variable subscription

I have the global conversion rate for USD to INR set to 1:50. The conversion works fine for every other type of product except a variable subscription. On the product page of a variable subscription, it shows a random price for the secondary currency (INR, in my case) which is much higher than the actual price of the subscription after conversion. But, once the product has been added to the cart and the customer proceeds to the checkout page, the conversion shows the correct amount to pay. Also, the price for each variation on the product page is displayed correctly. The problem is only with calculating the starting price of the subscription on the product page.
