Compatibility with Toolset?

Does Permalink Manager Lite (or pro) work with Toolset? I would like to change my permalinks to be the value in a custom field for a CPT created in Toolset (rather than the default post_name / post title). What would be the syntax? For custom field “candidate-id” I’ve tried %__candidate-id%, %__wpcf-candidate-id%, and %wpcf-candidate-id%.
