    Hi,

Elementor has just released 2.8.0 beta with their new Color Picker – https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/9672

Unfortunately (and quite expectably) it isn’t compatible with your plugin.

When your plugin is active and the option to integrate it with elementor is selected, I’m unable to open Elementor Style tab completely, seeing this JS error:

    TypeError: t.match is not a function pickr.min.js:2:4688

And after some more clicking on other tabs:
    TypeError: this.colorPicker is undefinededitor.min.js:30:19534

Could you please look into it and try to make it compatible again? I really adore your plugin and it’s abolutely essential for me to centralize the colors between Customizer, Post Editor and Elementor.

    Thanks

  • I had the same experience. This will be a step backwards for me until Elementor adds global formatting.

Oh dear, Elementor again. Had a quick look at it and no success yet.
I’ll have a proper look at it on the weekend.

    @kungtiger Oh yeah, that’s the Elementor way… ??

Just to let you know, Elementor is probably going to introduce even more changes to the Color picker in the next PRO version – something they call “dynamic colors” (https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/6485).

    Hope you’ll work it out!

Just committed version 1.14.2. Things should be back to normal.

Seems to be working now. Thank you very much!

    Excellent, now it works again.

Just an additional question: what about the situation, when the color saved in Central Color Palette is deleted from Elementor Picker?

My experience is, that I can delete the color in the picker, but after reopening/refreshing the page the color is back. This behaviour seems to me as correct, I’d just like to know if it’s the intention or some kind of side effect.

Best behavior possible would be some kind of “protected status”, so you won’t be able to delete imported colors. But I can imagine, it’s not doable unless there is some kind of native support for it in Elementor.

We shall see what the “dynamic color” feature will bring in the future.

    Thanks
