    I believe it’s because that is an admin theme and it’s trying to do the same thing as this plugin by adding “tags”. You can’t have two plugins adding tags. Also, that plugin moves the tags to the front of the page name using CSS, which is another conflict. My plugin leaves the tag after the page/post name where WordPress renders it originally.

    There would have to be a setting in Slate Admin Plugin to “turn off tags” for their rendering and css in their back-end. That would be the only way, since both plugins are essentially trying to do the same thing – one has to be turned off.
