Hi, our host is going to force us into using PHP 8.2 soon; so I’ve been testing our website on a staging server. I’ve found while WP Go Maps is enabled, if I updated a Woocommerce product, that action causes a 520 error. I can do the update as long as WP Go Maps is disabled.

Is WP Go Maps tested on PHP 8.2? It seems to work perfectly fine under PHP 8.0, this new update seems to be problematic for several of the plugins we have installed.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @scottm-ldg,

Thank you for getting in touch, we do appreciate your time.

We have prepared for PHP 8.2 become the new standard in most hosting environments, as of version 9.0.25 with additional improvements to compatibility and reliability added in the two additional updates released since then.

In our testing environments these new builds did result in all of our usual test cases being met without issue. Internally we’ve flagged the latest release as ‘stable’ with PHP 8.2.

With that said, due to various plugin combinations and environment configurations, it is possible that there may still be some minor incompatibilities, which would be solved as reported.

To confirm, are you experiencing the Gateway error (520) with PHP 8.2 specifically, or is this with PHP 8.0 installed?

You should be able to see any additional insights into the failure within your PHP error logs, and if you could share any lines relevant to our plugin, that would be very helpful.

I look forward to hearing back from you.
