The theme is working well so far but I’ve noticed a compatibility issue with Page Builder by Site Origin: layouts created using Page Builder are visible only if the page (in this case home page) is set to “full width”. In case of home and carousel template, none of the elements added with the Page Builder appear.

Secondly, how do I stop the date from being added to the bottom of pages?

I also noticed the image/carousel does not stretch to the full width of the page. How do I change that?

The compose-home.php and compose-home-carousel.php are Page templates, wherein they do not use the regular WordPress loop to show content. So they won’t be editable by the Page Builder.

To remove the date you’ll have to edit the content-page.php file on the Pages and subsequently on each content-*.php file for the Posts to remove the date tag.

The carousel does show in a full width setting too, see here for our live example: https://test.weborithm.com/compose/home-carousel/

Not sure what could be preventing your install from showing it.

Hmm. I would personally recommend that to make it as useful as possible, and to give people freedom to layout their home page content however they wish while using your theme, you make it so that content added via the page editor shows up appropriately in the home page template. I was able to accomplish this by adding the PHP content tag to the template I wanted but it would be wonderful if this feature could be accommodated by the developers in future updates.

Thanks. I only wanted to remove it from the page template so that’s fine.

As for the image–I think it might be because it’s currently the dummy image the theme shifts with? If I switch it to one of my posts, the slider stretches as appropriate. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll look into making the page templates flexible to work with page builder plugins.

Please feel free to mention your site URL if you are comfortable doing so.

A review would help others choose this theme for their next project as well ??
