Hi there! First of all, thank you for the great plugin! ??

I’ve added some functions to reorder my single product page and I wanted to use the content of the product description as a fixed page that I could ad a lot of full width content and make it easy for my coworkers to change layout and etc. So, I wanted to use Page Builder, but when I do so, the custom tab shows the main content and not the one that I’ve added.

Is there anything that I can do? Are the plugins incompatible?

    Many thanks!

    Hello @biancamobilitec,

Unfortunately I’ve never used the Page Builder plugin and am not sure about compatibility issues. Let’s try to find out.

First, are you using the most up-to-date version of our plugin (1.5.2)?

Based on the screenshot, the tab named “Error tab” is showing the same picture as the product’s content – that’s the problem, right?

So on the product page in the admin, you’ve added a picture for the main description, you’ve filled out the “Additional Information” tab, and you’ve created a custom tab, but for some reason the custom tab is just the main description content?

    Thanks,
    Kevin.

    That’s correct, Kevin! I’m using Version 1.5.2!

In the Admin product page, I’ve used the add action function that puts the “Additional Information” after the single_product_summary and out of the woocommerce tabs, but, if I put only text/image on the visual editor as usual, the custom tab works perfectly. If I exchange it to use the Page Builder, it only repeats the main description content and ignore any content that I put on the Custom Tab added to the product.

    Tks!

    Hi @biancamobilitec,

It sounds like there is a compatibility issue. Which Page Builder plugin are you using? I will download it and test it out.

    Kevin.

It’s the Page Builder by SiteOrigin, Version 2.4.21 (the most updated one). thank you!! ??

    Hi @biancamobilitec,

I’ve downloaded the Page Builder and I get the same issue! I have identified the root of the issue, but I cannot fix it myself. I’m going to file a ticket with Site Origin. I’ll let you know!

    Cheers,
    Kevin.

    Hello again Bianca,

I’ve just committed some changes to our GitHub repo that should solve this problem. If you have access to your server’s file system, you can replace the file wp-content/plugins/yikes-inc-easy-custom-woocommerce-product-tabs/yikes-inc-easy-custom-woocommerce-product-tabs.php with the file found here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/yikesinc/yikes-inc-easy-custom-woocommerce-product-tabs/feature-replacing-the-content-filter/yikes-inc-easy-custom-woocommerce-product-tabs.php.

If you’d rather not do this, we will push out an update to the plugin soon (either later today or tomorrow, hopefully) that will include the change.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention,
    Kevin.

    Woohoo! Glad it’s working. You’re welcome :-).

    Hi yikesitskevin,

Your plugin is great! I invite you to create element for KingComposer page builder as well.

Current we have many users are asking about the WooCommerce elements.

Hope that convenient for your plan.

    Best regards,

    Anthony

Bianca – there was an issue with the update I pushed out for you yesterday, so I had to go down a different route. I just released v1.5.4 and it handles the Page Builder fix differently. Please let me know if it’s no longer working.

Anthony – Hi! Have you tried using our Custom Product Tabs plugin with KingComposer? Does it not work?

    Cheers,
    Kevin.

    Hi,

I have the same problem with Visual Composer.
When I try to include formated text whith columns via VC’s shortcode everything is OK. But when I try to include “Media Grid” shortcode, the widget is still loading its content and never ends.

    Example : https://bieber.synchro-dev.com/produits/gamme-portes-entree/gamme-intemporelle/porte-dentree-intemporelle-b0/
(“Vitrages” is Media Grid and “Test” is formated text).

Do you have an idea to solve that ?
    Thank you.

    Using v1.5.6 – WP 4.7.2 – VC 5.0.1

    Hi @synchro57,

Unfortunately these types of page builder plugins are “intrusive” and it’s difficult for me to know exactly what’s going on. I did notice there’s a JavaScript error on the page that’s originating with a Visual Composer file (vc_grid.min.js). I don’t mean to “send you away,” but could you also file a ticket with the Visual Composer folks?

Here is a print out of the error:
    Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: {"status":"Nothing found"}

At the moment, I’m not sure what else I can do.

    Sorry about that,
    Kevin.
