    Hello again.

I found yet another issue with using LifterLMS with a recommended Moesia theme. It is impossible to add a student to a course manually. Instead of a drop-down menu, it shows a window with “none” as a single line in it. “None” can be selected, but, as expected, adds nothing.

Correction. It is not the theme itself, but a plugin “Toolset types”, which Moesia wants to be installed. Once disabled, the drop-down menu is there.

    Hey Irakly,

I’m sorry we made a recommendation back in November of 2014 that isn’t holding up today.

We’ve released a good deal of new features between the blog post announcing the release of LifterLMS 1.0.3 (https://blog.lifterlms.com/version-1-0-3-now-available/) where we recommended this theme and today.

I apologize that we haven’t updated this blog post. And I also apologize for not even being aware of it. I’ll make sure that blog post gets updated to reflect the current state of LifterLMS and, today, it sounds like we shouldn’t be recommending this theme. Things change quickly on the internet. It’s hard to maintain compatibility. I have no idea what Moesia has done it the past 18 months and we shouldn’t be expecting their changes to stay in sync with ours.

As for your issue, it looks like Toolset Types is another plugin to add to our list of plugins with a known conflict that we currently cannot find a way to resolve. Take a look at our writeup on the issue at https://lifterlms.com/docs/select2-javascript-issues/. I’ve just added Toolset Types to the list of plugins.

The best thing we can do is either find a way to temporarily resolve the conflict which I’d be happy to work on for you if you are a LifterLMS Pro member, simply submit a support request OR you can reach out to the plugin developers and urge them to upgrade their dependencies as noted in the article.

    Take care,

    Hey @irakly,

As you haven’t responded I’m going to assume that my answer is sufficient and I’m marking this particular thread as resolved.

Please let me know if you need anything further here,

    Hi Thomas,
    Thanks for the link https://lifterlms.com/docs/select2-javascript-issues/
This is indeed what was happening. I disabled the Toolset Types, as it is not really essential to correct functionality of the theme.
Once enabled, Toolset Types was impairing adding questions to quizes and adding/removing student functionality.

I had the same issue, thanks for the tip on removing the plugin.

Now though, when I add a Student to a Membership or Course, shouldn’t I see a list of them on the Membership/Course below the add/remove?

I also can’t see any Students in the dashboard for courses or memberships. Not sure if related or if this has something to do with the most recent update?

    Thanks guys.

    @briteweb,

We *do not* list all of the students below the add or remove areas on courses or memberships. However, if you use the select boxes you can add or remove students. These are *not designed* as a way for you to see who’s enrolled rather as a way for you to *manage* your enrollments (remove or add to a course manually).

If you use the “Remove” select box you can search for students and see who’s enrolled that way.

If you’d like to see a list of students in a particular course navigate to “LifterLMS -> Students” and view your student list for courses / memberships from there.

    Take care,
