Compatibility with Kadence Pinnacle

Hi,

I’m using the Kadence Pinnacle (free) theme, latest up to date version 1.6.1.
Wordpress version is 4.9.5, and all plugins are up to date. There are quite a few and I don’t want to disable them all on this live web site.
This theme has its own 404 error page but there is no facility to modify it in the free theme.
I just installed and activated your plugin 404page. Seems straightforward and works, but I am getting a strange effect: (Sometimes) when trying to access a pdf document it returns my new error page but the main page title is replaced by one of the page titles from the most recently edited Post. But does not seem to be consistent.
For example, when I try https://www.canceralliance.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/medicine-case-studies-compiled-for-ftpl-including-trastuzumab.pdf the page title comes up correctly but with title VISION CANCER NEWSLETTER – APRIL 2018, which just happens to be the post I have just worked on. However, if I try https://www.canceralliance.co.za/abc.pdf I get the correct page.
I tried Activate Compatibility Page, but that reverts to the standard 404 error page for the Theme.
It may be that your plugin and the Theme are fighting and the combination just won’t fit together.
I’ve left the new 404 page active for now and will check to see if any other odd behaviour arises.
