Even when I try to add a listing on the website for Geocraft theme, it points me to the twenty ten theme site.

Each of those GeoCraft listings have a unique URL, don’t they? You will have to tell the plugin each of those URLs, and set it to GeoCraft. Hopefully, the use of the Prefix URL feature will make that a lot easier.

Again, I hope that I understand you correctly.

YES.. I get it now.. As you said I need to add each individual URL for GEOCRAFT independently

    GOT IT! Sorry.. Newbie here

And, hopefully, you’ll find a way to use the plugin’s “Prefix” capability, so you don’t have to spend your life creating individual entries for each listing URL!

Hi Jonradio, so I am having an issue with the theme and plugin.

This is the troubleshooting message I sent to the Geocraft Theme developer:

just installed GeoCraft Theme and created a test biz account “premium” and do not see the slider on the main “home” page nor do i see the biz listed.

if I go to Premium Listings or All Listings I see the test biz listed but do not see the slider nor the test biz listed on the home page.

I’m using a plugin called jonradio Multiple Themes which allows me to run multiple Themes on one WP site/account I was told by InkThemes support that this would work. I have a suspicion that the multisite feature may be interferring.

the main site is https://xxxxx.info which is our basic Twenty-Ten theme we use.

The Geocraft is under the Tab menu link “Directory” https://xxxx.info/directory/

As you can see some of the Twenty-Ten site is being carried over in the menu tabs as well as duplication tabs etc etc.

    FRONT PAGE = ON

This is the answer they gave me:

Plugin you are using not allowing front page of Geocraft theme to display. And front page contain slider and recent listings.
That’s why they are not visible for you.

Please give me a little time to try and replicate what you are doing on my test system. I’ll respond here as soon as I know anything of interest.

I am not going to be able to test this situation with the trial copy of the old version of the Theme that they provide for evaluation on their web site. So, I will contact the person you suggested in an earlier post, for a current version.

But first, I would like you to check one thing. The “home page” you are referring to (‘do not see the slider on the main “home” page’): check that its URL is listed in my plugin in an entry assigning it to GeoCraft, either directly, or through the URL Prefix feature of the plugin. What you are saying sounds like my plugin thinks it should be using Twenty Ten for the “home page”.

    Hey johnradio

Again, admitting Im a newbie to this…

This is what I have in the plugin and Im note sure what you mean by prefix:

    Entries: Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=All Listings
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Path=listing/linen-lenders
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Premium Listings
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Add New Listing
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Dashboard
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Add New Listing
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Dashboard
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Search
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Contact Us
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Add New Listing
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Search
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Directory

Do you want my URL for this site? Id prefer to give you privately if you need to look at it

Please try the following. Copy and paste the URL of this “home page” that is not displaying the slider, and create a new entry in the plugin assigning Geocraft to that URL.

    (@srfrdrew)

I did, it is the “directory” oage
    Delete Theme=Geocraft; Page=Directory

    (@srfrdrew)

Do you want me to send you my URL’s to you (privately)? so you can see the actual site and what it is and is not doing?

Thanks for the clarification. I was confused. I’ll keep you posted.

Yes, the site URL would be very helpful at this point. Best way to is to use the form at https://jonradio.com/contact-us/

    Done, please check..

No slider on main page nor the “premium” or “all listings” link which the slider should show up (I believe)

Also, you will see some of the menu links from the main website theme (Twenty-Ten) carried over and dupicated to the Geocraft theme which is also odd behavior as well.

I can see the problem, but won’t know exactly why until I am able to obtain a copy of the current version of the Theme to run on my test system. The trial version does not have the Directory feature.

Again, I am sorry for the delay. Seeing your site helps a lot.
