Compatibility with Full Site Editing

Hello, I downloaded the Tove theme which uses this new Full Site Editing. Polylang language switch does not appear and the option is unavailable in the screen settings. I asked in the Tove theme support forum what could the problem be and its author advised me to write here instead because FSE is new and perhaps Polylang is not yet compatible with this Full Site Editing setup.

My question is if and whether Polylang will be made compatible with the Full Site Editing based themes.
