    Hi @palomar83

Thank you for letting us know about the compatibility issue.

Did you happen to experience any issues when creating popups that target events?

It would be super helpful to include the following:

    1) Write out each specific step you take to see the issue.
    2) Copy/paste any error messages (PHP logs, page errors, or dev tools console logs) you see.
    3) Attach or post screen captures of the issue (including error messages).
    4) Explain what you expect to see or happen that’s not happening
    5) Let us know what you’ve already done to try to fix the issue.

Please send the error logs, page errors, dev tools console logs, and screen captures on our support website for security.

    Here’s how to:

    1. Go to https://wppopupmaker.com/support/#submit-a-support-ticket
    2. Click Other Support
    3. Fill in the form
    4. Click SUBMIT

Here’s a screen capture for your reference: https://share.wppopupmaker.com/geudGzB4

Thank you, and we look forward to your response.

@palomar83 – Do you have any thoughts on how you could check for a proper comparison programatically? I’m not super familiar with their code base. I assume they have a function that you could call for is_event( 123 ) where 123 is the root event and all children events would still return true.

That said I’m kinda imagining they piggy back off the hierarchial post type structure, using the post_parent field to store the original ID, at least that is how I would do it.

In which case you could try the Ancestor of or Child of conditions for events by ID.

Hello, thank you for your replies.
I am not a developer so I will not be able to correct the issue by myself. But following Kim L advice I opened a support ticket linking to a video in which I explain the incompatibility I found between TEC 6.0 and PUM.
    Best.
