    Hi guys,

Does Envira work well with plugins like Amazon S3 Offload, Media Cloud etc? We need to store our images in our Amazon S3 account for various reasons.

    Thanks!

  • Hi @menathor ??

You can certainly use plugins like that with Envira however, if the original images aren’t stored/kept in the /uploads directory on your server, Envira wouldn’t have the correct permissions to create cropped images for you. So as long as you don’t use cropped images anywhere in the Gallery you should be fine!

Ok, thanks! Is there any way I could disable cropping and any other incompatible features to avoid user confusion?

Also I saw you have a watermarks addon- would that also need the files stored locally?

    Hi ??

Yes, you could use the Defaults addon to make sure you set up a ‘base’ set of settings with cropping enabled (Configuration tab, Lightbox thumbnails from Lightbox tab and Mobile tab).

But yes, the same would be said for the Watermarking addon. The originals would need to be left on the server.
