    We are using your plugin on a website together with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin. Will you maintain compatibility also for the after recent events now external hosted and updated ACF plugin?

    Thank you for your message.

    I do not want to go into details related to recent events. I prefer to stay away from it.

    The only thing I can say is that our plugin uses WordPress filters to modify SQL database queries. In the plugin you are talking about, there is no possibility to change the data structure in the database, because it would mean no backward compatibility. I mean, it is possible, but it would require a lot of work.

    Currently, everything should work without any problems.

    Thanks for quick clarification. The website owner is concerned about losing functionality of your plugin in future when used with the now external hosted ACF plugin, that’s why we asked.
