Compatibility with 5.0.3

  • Just installed the latest version of WP (5.0.3) … and my site crashed instantly. The culprit? WPTouch. It appears that the latest version of WPTouch is NOT compatible with 5.0.3. The menu is unresponsive; no links work … in short, it’s unusable.
    Does anyone know when a fully compatible new version of WPTouch will be available?

    Sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having. It’s not the experience we want any user of WPtouch to have.

    The latest version of WPtouch is compatible with the latest version of WordPress. We haven’t seen other reports of incompatibilities, and I re-tested both latest versions locally now and can’t seem to reproduce any issue like this.

    There’s a chance that the issue on your website is not directly related to a conflict between WPtouch and WordPress 5.0.3.

    In any case, we’d like to help you resolve the issue so that you can continue using WPtouch. When you say your website crashed, can you explain the exact behavior? Did you see any error messages on screen? If so, what are the error messages? Thank you.
