Compatibility Question

  • Hi

    I am still using an older free version (year 2016) of the menu editor. My question is: if I remove this free version and install the latest Menu Editor Pro / Business version will all my work I have done with this old free version be conserved, or are there incompatibility issues?

    Generally speaking, the plugin is intended to be backward-compatible with older versions (this applies both to the free version and the Pro version), but a version from 2016 would be very old. I would recommend backing up the ws_menu_editor entry from the wp_options table before you attempt to install the latest free version or upgrade to the Pro version.
