Hello, I’m experiencing a problem between the woocommerce block plugin and the advenced coupon for woocommerce plugin in the shopping cart block and mini cart.

    The situation is as follows:
We have a coupon code that automatically adds 1 existing product (on sale on our site for €5) to the shopping cart with a price change from €5 to €0 for this specific quantity of product.
In the mini cart/cart, the product is added and the price is changed. However, if the user changes the quantity of the automatically added product (from 1 to 2, for example), the price remains at 0€, whereas it should be 5€ (one of the two products offered).
If I remove the shopping cart block from the page and put back the basic woocommerce shopping cart, the problem doesn’t arise, the free product is added and if the product quantity changes, the price also changes.

For your information, our plugins are up to date with the latest versions.

  • Hi @srillet

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are experiencing a problem between the WooCommerce Blocks plugin and the Advanced Coupons for WooCommerce plugin in the shopping cart block and mini cart.

Furthermore, it seems that the automatic addition of a free product and the price change are not functioning as expected when the user modifies the quantity of the automatically added product.

As a first step, please make sure that you are using the latest versions of these plugins and that both are compatible with each other as well as the theme you are using.

You can also run a conflict test to verify if the issue is being caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site.

Meanwhile, this is a third-party plugin that we don’t provide support for based on our Support Policy, I recommend that you reach out to the developers of the plugin for further assistance. They will be better equipped to help you resolve any issues you’re experiencing with the plugin.

All the best and hopefully, the issue will be fixed soon.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

This is a problem with your woocommerce block plugin.
    I ran the basic tests:

    • Changed theme to woocommerce storefront theme. The problem is still there.
    • Update plugins. The problem is still present.
    • Change the shopping cart (replace the block cart with the woocommerce-cart shortcode) The problem is solved.

The blocks proposed by the woocommerce block plugins are interesting and more optimized than the basic woocommerce elements, so I’d like to be able to use them (cart and mini-cart…).
If I don’t have an answer here, who can I contact to report this fix?

    Thank you

    Hi @srillet

Thanks for providing further information about your issue here.

I understand that the problem exists only when using the WooCommerce Blocks since using the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode resolved the issue, correct?

As mentioned above that we don’t provide support for third-party plugins, hence, I cannot verify and test this on my end. But, please feel free to report any issues or bugs related to the WooCommerce Blocks plugin directly on the GitHub repository: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gutenberg-products-block/issues. The development team actively monitors this repository and will be able to address your concerns.

    Hope this helps!
