Compatibility issues with WP 5.8 block widgets!!

  • Disappointed that there have not been any updates to Travel Eye Pro theme in over a year!

    There are new compatibility issues with block widget area and the latest version of WordPress 5.8.

    Two-column layout options for Secondary Sidebar, WoocCommerce Primary, WooCommerce Secondary, Extra Sidebar 1,2,3,4 are GONE. In Theme Options > Layout Options the only choices are:

    (1) Primary Sidebar – Content
    (2) Content – Primary Sidebar
    (3) Three Columns…
    …
    (9) No Sidebar

    I had to download “Classic Widget” plugin and swap my Primary and Secondary Sidebars which is just an unnecessary hassle and it’s annoying.

    Please release a theme update ASAP! 1-year with no update is ridiculous. I LOVE this theme, but I’ve already been forced to look at alternatives because this is a heavy theme, takes forever to load, and it’s not being maintained regularly.

    Please address compatibility issues with a theme update and I will change my review to 5-stars.
