• hi my buttons and page shadow do not appear/ look different on internet explorer but appear as i would like them on safari/ firefox.
    is there a way round this?

    Hi Olivia,
    Older versions of Internet Explorer (8 and below) do not support CSS box-shadow and border radius. The current version does, and future versions will!
    Back in the day, the way to get these to look exactly the same in older, less capable browsers would be to slice up multiple corner images with shadows and apply them as background images, which could be labor and time intensive.
    In 2011, there is CSS PIE, which uses JavaScript to wrangle the older browsers into submission. I would recommend checking that out if you really need older IE to look the same.

    thanks for the reply, at i least i know where i stand ??

    also would you be able to help me use buttons on my side menu- ive applied it to the main menu but im not sure how to do this to the side?
