• Hello,

We have been trying to configure Omnisend on our website and before that, Mailchimp.

We have found that when we integrate the plugins with our website our page performance goes way down and it starts taking upwards of 10-20 seconds to load some pages.

As soon as we disable either plugin then our website starts loading much faster.

Are there any known compatibility issues between marketing plugins and wordpress? Or is there anything we can try to adjust so we can use one of these plugins with our website?

    Thank you

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You’d need to know why the slow-down is happening to draw any sort of conculsions. There’s no inherent compabitility issues (if there was they’d be reported over and over again in the plugins support forums).

What is most likely happening is that the remove connections to those 3rd party services that are needed are taking time to execute. This could be your servers speed, network latency or a bad connection between your host and the remove service. That’s not something that you can fix yourself, unless you have control over your hosting servers external network, which most people won’t ever have.

I’d start off talking to your hosting company and asking them to investigate this to see if it’s an issue.
