Compatibility Issues

    I’ve been using Google Web Stories for a while, but recently (last two weeks) I can’t publish anything. It always says there’s a compatibility error. I turned off all of my plugins, but it still happens. I also tried deleting and reinstalling Google Web Stories but it still doesn’t work.
    I’d love to keep posting them so I really want to get this fixed.

    Could you please share the URL of your website or a story you’ve already published where you get this message?

    It’s on the app itself (ninaoutandabout.ca). when I’m in the plug in it shows up under the “priority” area of things that need to be changed

    Does it also show the message if you edit one of your existing stories like https://ninaoutandabout.ca/web-stories/10-best-destinations-for-solo-female-travel/ in the editor?

    Note that the checklist doesn’t prevent you from publishing.

    All your existing stories look fine, so it could be possible that the message is simply a false positive, in which case you could ignore the message.

    It let’s me change others. But on any new ones, it won’t let me click “update” or “publish” when I try to. It stays greyed out no matter what I do.

    I see! Thanks for the additional information.

    The greyed out buttons are actually unrelated to that checklist item and are an issue related to media upload. We’ve added some improvements in this area in our upcoming release (due out this week) which should hopefully fix this. We’ll keep you updated on it.
