Hi, I’ve been using your plugin for several years. It stopped tracking add to cart and product list views over a month ago, but still tracking checkout and purchases. I recently turned off Siteground Optimizer for testing, and the add to cart and product clicks started tracking again while the Siteground Optimizer plugin is deactivated. There’s some sort of compatibility issue with these two plugins. I was also getting error 500 errors whenever I was editting woocommerce product pages and orders. It was happening all the time on multiple browsers and IPs, and clearing the browser cache never fixed the issue. I disabled your plugin and the error stopped. I believe this issue too is connected with the compatibility issues with the Siteground Optimizer.

Hi, I contacted Siteground about the plugin conflict. They would like to know how exactly is the Data tracked and what type of JS is executed, so they can further advise on the matter and what can further be done.

    Thank you!

    Hi @blueazure000,

Our Google Analytics Integration plugin works by adding JavaScript tracking code to your WooCommerce website. More specifically, it uses Google’s gtag.js for tracking. The data from actions such as add to cart and product list views are tracked using this JavaScript and then sent to your Google Analytics account.

The compatibility issue you’re experiencing might be due to Siteground Optimizer’s caching or optimization features. These features could potentially interfere with the execution of the JavaScript tracking code.

To help Siteground understand the issue, you can tell them that the tracking is done using Google’s gtag.js and actions like add to cart and product list views are not being tracked when their optimizer plugin is active.

In the meantime, I recommend keeping the Siteground Optimizer plugin deactivated until the issue is resolved.

I hope this information helps Siteground’s team in diagnosing the issue. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions.
