Compatibility issue with official Mollie plugin

Since updating to the latest version of the activecampaign plugin we get a fatal error on the checkout when placing an order that would lead to the mollie payment gateway. The error is:

After disabling the AC plugin, the payment gateway is working again.

PHP version is 7.4.12
