I am using “The Event Calendar” v3.7 plug-in and it’s very good.

However, I am having some issues using the WPtouch plug-in v3.4.5. In the mobile view on my iPhone 5, the events are not displaying correctly. I have (2) specific issues:
    1. My first entry displays blank in mobile view, but displays ok in desktop view
    2. When I click on the event in mobile view, I am not seeing my event information, and it seems to be referencing 2 events.

In addition to these issues, I would also love to tailor the event listings in mobile view (i.e. event date, venue, etc).

I saw a previous post about creating a custom template and even adding some additional code to the .php files, but I didn’t see any specifics on either. Also, those posts are referencing older plug-in versions.

My site is ptafranklin.org in case anyone is curious.

I am not using the pro versions of either plug-in’s but will upgrade if it enables me to overcome these display issues. I am finding both plug-ins to be very useful.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

In addition, I was also experiencing an issue with the Events listing with the Event “posting date” showing instead of the Event Start Date.

I turned off the “Post Date” option and it removed the post dates from displaying along with the Event listing.

It would be nice to list the actual event date with the event listings.

    Hi kquainta,

Thanks for your post. I’m sorry you’re having trouble integrating your theme. I suspect that a theme conflict is also responsible for the other issues you mentioned.

Unfortunately, as outlined in our forum guidelines, we aren’t able to help with these kinds of conflicts. But we do have some handy resources that might be helpful for you:

? Themer’s Guide – provides an overview of how to customize the plugin’s frontend appearance.
? Tutorials – useful tips and tricks for changing how the plugin looks and behaves.
? Technical Docs – provides an overview of the classes and functions in each plugin

I also recommend that you get in touch with the theme’s developer and see if they can shed some light on these issues.

Good luck, and thanks for using The Events Calendar!
