• Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue where the GTM4WP plugin seems to stop adding its URL tags when I enable “Geolocate with page caching support” in WooCommerce.

The geolocation setting in WooCommerce appends a unique query string (e.g., ?v=xxxx) to the URL to ensure proper functionality with caching, but this appears to interfere with GTM4WP’s ability to append its own URL parameters for Google Analytics tracking.

    • With “Geolocate with page caching support” disabled, GTM4WP works perfectly, and Google Analytics tracks data as expected.
    • When “Geolocate with page caching support” is enabled, GTM4WP stops appending the expected tags, and tracking breaks.

    My setup:

    • WordPress version: 6.7.1
    • WooCommerce version: 9.4.2
    • GTM4WP version: 1.20.2

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Are there any known fixes or workarounds? Alternatively, are there specific configurations I can use in GTM4WP to handle the query strings added by WooCommerce geolocation?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!
