Compatibility from 1.14 to 2.0x

    Hi,

    I love tablepress. And I have a lot of large tables with 1.14.

    If I use version 2.x.x(not pro or max), is there any feature or function I lose? Or any incompatibility? Is there any site or table which shows all compatibility? Would all the shortcode such as fix_column, table-info, convert_line_breaks and so on still work?

    Version 2.x.x has new nice features and I would like to use it but I am afraid that if I use it, my site may not work properly. But if version 2.x.x has too much incompatibility, I need some time to think plan-B as I know 1.14 won’t be supported long enough.

    This place may not be the place where I ask this kind of question. Then, I am sorry but I don’t know where to ask. I would appreciate any help.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    No, you won’t lose any functions, and there are no incompatibilities to be expected ??

    The existing Shortcode parameters will also continue to work!

    I suggest to just give it a try. If you really see something not working, it would be easy to switch back to TablePress 1.14 by reinstalling that.

    It is great to know that there is no incompatibilities and I can go back to 1.14! I will certainly try version 2.
