Compatability with Revolution Slider

    Hi folks. I’ve been testing Events Manager 5.6.1 with Revolution Slider (5.6.5 and 5.0.6). With both versions of Revolution, I’m encountering the same problem which appears to be related to an incompatibility with the plugins. The problem I’m having is after setting up a slider in Revolution, and after I select the Events post-type and save the slider, all the sliders disappear from the Revolution Slider setup screen. The slider works fine with standard posts and pages but as soon as the Events post-type is selected and saved, the sliders disappear from the setup screen.

    I realize this is a 3rd party plugin issue but I’m hoping someone out there may have encountered this same problem and has a solution.

    Update: After more testing, I narrowed down the incompatibility between Events Manager and Revolution Slider plugins. I can create a post-based slider using events post-type and set the slide background source to Image BG and the slider works fine. If I add a text/html layer and add any caption or meta tag (it doesn’t matter which), this breaks the revolution slider plugin. Deleting all layers unbreaks the slider plugin.

    Has anyone else experienced this issue or can reproduce it? I’m really hoping someone has a solution or workaround.

    sorry haven’t tried RevSlider before and at the moment we don’t have snippet for this.
