    Hey.

So my store has an integration with DPD Delivery and it has a manual javascript-based selection of parcel locker locations.

The problem is that when paying with Apple Pay, I can choose the DPD Parcel delivery method, but I’m not able to select which parcel box to use.

Our origin countries Payment provider (PaySera) has Apple and Google pay, but they are only triggered after the whole checkout is finished (in their page, similairly to Stripe Checkout).

Does this mean that I’m not able to use Apple/Google Pay and Link?

    Hi @hekcis,

    Thank you for reaching out.

From my understanding, it looks like the issue is related to the order in which the checkout process is completed.

Apple Pay and Google Pay are payment methods that are typically triggered after the shipping method and location have been selected. In that case, if the DPD Parcel delivery method and parcel box selection is a separate process that occurs after the payment method is selected, then this could be the reason why you’re not able to select a parcel box when using Apple Pay or Google Pay.

To solve this, you might need to adjust the checkout flow so that the parcel box selection occurs before the payment method is chosen. I would recommend contacting the developers of the DPD Delivery integration for further assistance.

    I hope this helps.

@ckadenge Hello. For me they are at the start. They can even be in the Product page, which means instant check-out.

Here you can see that Pay with Apple Pay shows up before any information is even entered (MacOS Safari).

And the parcel selection is all the way at the bottom. That means that the client can pay with Apple Pay without selecting the Parcel box.

If I click the Pay with Apple pay, this is what I see:

So here I can select DPD Pickup points, but can’t select the Pickup point itself.

This all is good, when paying with Card, because I need to press “Checkout” at the bottom.

It would be great to select Apple Pay as the Payment option and only trigger it when “checkout” is pressed, but right now that doesn’t seem possible.

    Hey, @hekcis!

Sorry about the confusion, Google and Apple pay are express checkout options, so they work differently than the regular checkout, and are set up so the customer can quickly complete the order. It is even possible (depending on your set up) to have it on the product page, without even going through checkout.

Have you reached out to the developers of the shipping plugin you are using so they can take a look and see if the plugin is compatible with express checkout?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!
