Compatability issue with WPBakery Page Builder

  • After upgrading WPBakery Page Builder to version 5.5.1 the Grid Builder function stopped working properly and would show extra categories I did not have selected. After checking all plugins I found it was caused by the Ultimate Category Excluder. With more precision I was able to narrow down to having any category checked for “Exclude from All Archives?” even though the categories in use on the page were not checked. If anyone else is experience WPBakery Page Builder Post Grid filter category issues make sure you do not have Ultimate Category Exluder with any checked boxes in the Exclude from All Archives settings. Any other fixes or suggestions would be appreciated.
