I’m using WPBakery and I also see a setting “Local Google Fonts”

I suppose if I enable this with your plugin it could lead to bad results, but is this equivalent to your plugin? Is your plugin doing more than what WPBakery is doing? Your opinion would be appreciated, thanks

OMGF takes care of all Google Fonts it finds in your configuration. The WP Bakery only makes sure its own fonts are loaded locally.

Also, be sure to check out that the compressed versions of WOFF2 files are used. Many developers use the Google Webfonts Helper, which hands out packages of uncompressed WOFF2 files, which are ~30% bigger in size.

Other than that, it’s definitely comparable. Enabling the option next to OMGF will just cause OMGF to no longer detect/replace these fonts. That’s all.

    Hope that answers your question!
